As of December 2023, more than 45 individuals, including Mrs. Sudha, Mr. Senthil, Mr. Balakrishnan, and Ms. Sumathi P, have experienced a cure. Remarkably, over 50% of these individuals who underwent the revolutionary treatments have married without transmitting the infection to their spouses and children. These success stories mark a significant breakthrough in HIV research and treatment.

Despite the lack of financial support and formal recognition for the research, these achievements stand as a testament to the dedication and resilience of the researchers. The impact is particularly notable as it extends beyond the laboratory, allowing cured individuals to build families without the risk of transmitting the virus.

The progress, while commendable, is acknowledged to be slow due to the limited number of incoming cases. For privacy reasons, details such as photos and specific information about cured individuals are no longer provided on the website. Nevertheless, the ongoing success stories serve as a beacon of hope and progress in the quest for an HIV cure.
